1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
21-ounce cherry pie filling
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
½ cup sliced almonds
¼ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup milk
1 tablespoon butter, melted
¼ teaspoon almond extract
1 large egg
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a 10-inch pie pan with an unbaked pie crust. Mix cherry pie filling, cinnamon and lemon juice and spread evenly in the pie crust. Bake for 20 minutes.
Mix next 7 ingredients in a medium-sized bowl. Spread over the cherry pie filling and return to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until topping and crust are golden brown.
