Nuts About Granola~ Peanut Butter Granola Review

July 10, 2012
I eat a lot of granola. I like it as a cereal with milk or sprinkled
over my yogurt.  Since I have been on the Weight Watchers plan, I snack on granola more than I normally would. It is a good snack to satisfy my sweet tooth. With 260 calories, 6g of protein and 4 g of fiber, the Plain Jane Granola is 6 points per serving on my Weight Watchers program.  I guess you could say a good granola is a staple in this house for sure.

I first learned about Nuts About Granola
a few weeks ago and requested a sample to review. I was
excited when I checked my mail the other day and my
sample had come.  I received the Plain Jane Peanut Butter Granola. I decided to try it  yesterday afternoon when I got home from work. At first taste, I was very pleased.

This granola has a chewy texture and the peanut butter is not overpowering which is a plus. I could taste a hint of cinnamon and thought it was  very good.  This granola is made with  whole oats. peanuts, brown sugar, honey, natural
peanut butter,(peanuts, salt, canola oil, organic wheat bran, cinnamon and natural sea salt).

After trying this granola, I was curious to see what other varieties were available. I decided to check out the website to find out more. Some of the flavors available are: orange creamsicle, peanut butterand chocolate, peanut butter and jelly, and chocolate mint cookie. If you cannot decide which delicious granola to try you can buy the sample pack  which includes five  2oz bags.  I also was delighted that Rachael Ray featured this yummy granola  as snack of the day on her show. How cool is that?

Nuts About Granola is a small mother daughter owned granola company in York, Pa.All granolas are mixed in small batches and by hand to ensure quality. I liked the fact that this granola  is all natural and has earned the PA preferred seal from
the Pennsylvania Department Of Agriculture.  I will give this product a thumbs up for sure and hope that you will try some for yourself.
Are you nuts about granola?
