NEW ENGLAND COFFEE~ REVIEW & GIVEAWAY

August 4, 2011

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED

This is one of the hottest summers I can remember. Heating

the kitchen up with an oven is not an option especially today.
But one thing I cannot do without is my coffee. Yes, it’s hot
but I love coffee and have to have it to make it through the day. I was excited when I found out I was going to get to review
for the NEW ENGLAND COFFEE COMPANY.
I have always loved flavored coffees. The generous folks at New England Coffee Company sent me three bags of coffee to review. New England  Eye Opener Blend, Peach Cobbler and Blueberry Cobbler.

I love blueberry and peach cobbler but wasn’t sure
what these flavors would taste like in a coffee. My mom
loves blueberry flavored anything but also was skeptical
when I told her about this coffee but she agreed to try
it out.

NEW ENGLAND COFFEE COMPANY  is a family owned
company dedicated to the art of roasting coffee.

“It’s been that way since 1916 when we imported and roasted
coffee exclusively for the finest eateries and coffee houses in the Northeast. Now we offer our fine coffees for you to enjoy at home. We’re a group of passionate coffee lovers who consider coffee one of life’s daily indulgences, not merely a staple. Our methods are not cutting edge. In fact they’re antiquated by most people’s standards. And we wouldn’t change a thing, because there are no shortcuts to greatness. We start with the finest Arabica beans. Then our master roasters apply their palates and instincts in a time-honored process that has been honed for  over four generations. It’s the only way we know how to make sure that you’ll enjoy a consistently great cup of coffee.”

THE REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY

The first coffee we tried was the Peach Cobbler. I wanted to try
this coffee hot . I have to use cream and sugar in my coffee,. I have never been of fan of it black. But this coffee I wanted to taste without cream and sugar because I was curious of the flavor. The instructions said to use one rounded tablespoon of ground coffee per 6 ounces of water. I prefer stronger coffee so I found this was not enough for my taste so I added more coffee. To me, this coffee had a great flavor but not a flavor of peaches in my opinion. This flavor was not my favorite of the coffees I received.

Next we tried the Blueberry Cobbler. This coffee we decided
to try it iced.  We brewed the coffee, let it get cold and added evaporated milk to a blender, coffee, ice and sweetened it with
stevia.  Wow, this was so awesome. We loved the taste of this
coffee. It is excellent. Has a great blueberry flavor and is perfect
on ice.  I think the blueberry cobbler flavor is my favorite of
the coffees I received. My mom loved this coffee and insisted I shared this coffee with her.

Next we brewed the Eye Opener Blend. This coffee is also
excellent  and is made with a rich Colombian and Central American beans with zesty French Roast. I would definitely encourage you to try this coffee for yourself.

I would definitely recommend  you try NEW ENGLAND COFFEE. My overall opinion of this company is excellent and I enjoyed the coffees I received to review.
