APPLE WALNUT GALETTE RECIPE

APPLE WALNUT GALETTE RECIPE

November 10, 2011

I am so glad  the holidays are approaching. I love this time of year when I can start baking. I  now have a new favorite dessert, Apple Walnut Galette. This recipe is so easy.Wait until  you see how pretty and yummy it looks. Your guest will think you spent all day in the kitchen. I love the way it smells when

baking. Fills the entire house with a yummy
apple cinnamon aroma.

I used Pillsbury Pie Crust for this recipe I love this pie
crust because it is delicious and taste
as close to home made as you can get in
my opinion. I like  using it to because
it is so convenient and easy.
If you are pressed for time and  want a quick
delicious dessert, this is it. In about 30 minutes  you can have a delicous  dessert made with apples, cinnamon,
sugar and walnuts. Great with a scoop of vanilla ice
cream on top.

Instructions

Peel core and chop apples and place in mixing bowl. Add
cinnamon, brown sugar and walnuts. Toss to coat.
Unroll pie crust and place apple mixture in the middle.
Simply  fold up pie crust and tuck under. Sprinkle with
granulated sugar on top of crust if desired. Place 2 to 3 pats of
butter on top of apple mixture before baking. Bake at 400
for 30 to 45 minutes until apples are tender and
crust is golden brown. Serve at your next holiday table. Your
guest will be very impressed.
