I am a big coffee drinker and have been for many years. I  have worked 12-hour shifts for the past 16 years. I get up early in the morning, so I can enjoy a few cups of coffee before heading to work. My dad was a big coffee drinker too. He always had a cup in his hand from sun up to sun down.  I   remember when I would go visit him; he would offer me a cup as soon as I arrived. He knew I loved coffee as much as he did.  I guess I got that trait from him. He passed away in 2013.
How To Use The Icoffee Opus Single Brewer from Sheila Wilson on Vimeo.
This past Saturday,  my  iCoffee arrived by Fed Ex. Today I am off work, so I decided to  use it for the first time. I opened the  box and pulled out a sleek black and silver coffee maker. Included in the box was a bonus starter pack of K-style cups and  a reusable iCup that works with your own ground coffee. The brewer works with all K-style cups  from every private label brand and maker. This is a really great feature. iCoffee has Spin Brew technology. When you insert the K-Cup,  a needle pierces the cup and spins, steams and stirs inside the cup brewing a better cup of coffee according  to the company.
The heating process takes a couple of minutes, but the actual brewing process takes less than a minute.  I like the automatic shut off  feature, in case I forget to turn it off when I leave for work. The water reservoir is on the side and holds 75 ounces of water. The machine will tell  you when to refill  the water when it gets low and tell you when the water heats up, and it is ready to brew. When turning on the power button the machine lights up, I thought that was very innovative.

The iCoffee Opus is great for  individuals or families. It is really quiet when brewing too, which is a plus if you get up early before everyone else.According to the packaging, the brewer is BPA free and  delivers a hotter than hot, smoother than smooth, and faster than
fast cup of coffee. I was truly impressed with the innovation, flavor of the coffee and easy to use features. I would highly recommend  you try it in your own home. I love my new iCoffee Opus.

DE-Scaling Your Brewer: Over a period of  time your brewer may build up mineral deposits from using tap water.  This is non toxic but may affect the performance of your coffee brewer.  iCoffee recommends the descaling process every 4 to 6 months. Simply fill the water reservoir 1/3 full  with white vinegar then to the max line with water. Place a 12 ounce cup under the brewer and press brew to start the de-scaling process Repeat until all solution is dispensed Let brewer sit for 4 hours. Fill the reservoir to the max line with fresh water and  press brew to  dispense all water. Now you can brew your coffee as normal. I would recommend bottled,or distilled water.
