Company Breakfast Casserole On Saturday Morning

October 26, 2013

I wanted to try something new for breakfast this

morning for my son and I. I was browsing recipes
yesterday on the You Tube,  Gooseberry Patch
Channel. I came across a recipe that looked so good
called Company Breakfast Casserole and decided to
make it. I went to the grocery store because I was
out of eggs and had to pick up the rest of the ingredients
for the casserole.  The recipe can feed an army, but
that is ok because I plan on taking some to work on Sunday
and probably Monday to.
I love easy recipes so this one is a keeper. You simply
layer all the ingredients in your pan. I decided to use
a bundt pan. I will use turkey sausage next time. I try
not to use pork sausage if I don’t have to.

My son hates mushrooms but I love them. You
can change up the recipe to your liking and leave out the
mushrooms. You can add red peppers instead of green.
I love this recipe because you can add what you like.
I used  hash browns for the first layer, browned pork
sausage for the second and layered onions, green peppers
mushrooms and cheese on the top. The recipe calls for one dozen eggs beaten. I added a little milk and salt and pepper.
You pour over the top of the casserole and pop it in the oven.
Cover with foil and then uncover about 10 to 15 minutes before done.
Bake at 350 for  45 to 60 minutes. For the full recipe visit the link below.
