I have been seeing recipes and talk all over Facebook about the Instant Pot Pressure Cooker. I was very intrigued about it. I finally decided to purchase one at Wal-Mart and I am so glad I did.
This is amazing to have in the kitchen. I have used it to steam veggies and make chili. Today I got up super early and went grocery shopping so I could make a pot roast. This is one of my very favorite meals. I grew up on pot roast and love it with potatoes, carrots and onions. I cooked this roast in less than 50 mins. I can see why everyone is crazy about the Instant Pot. You can do so much with it.
First ,I put the Instant Pot on saute with 2 tbsp of vegetable oil and browned both sides of roast. Then I add the potatoes, carrots, beef broth, onions and water. I had lunch ready in a snap. You really need to purchase an Instant Pot. I think you will love it.
This is one of my go to recipes for a pot roast. I have used this recipe for years and most of the time made my roast in the oven or in a slow cooker. Now that I have purchased the latest craze.. Instant Pot.. this was the first recipe I made when I first got it. I absolutely love my Instant Pot and I love forward to making many more recipes with it. I have been sick for several days now and was unable to cook much but
look forward to making many more delicious recipes. I bought a cookbook from Amazon that has some really good and healthy Instant pot recipes, I can’t wait to try them. I bought one of my good friends an Instant Pot and delivered it to her last week . She works out all the time and is going to use her Instant Pot for meal prep.. can’t wait to see the dishes she makes.
