Easter is right around the corner. This is a fun spring recipe to share with your kids. Bunny Tail Donuts.. are easy to make and a great treat your children will love. Made with a can of biscuits and coconut.. a tasty treat! I remember my mom making homemade donuts with biscuits when we were growing up. I love them. She would fry them with oil and they were so so good. This is a childhood memory I will never forget. This recipe reminds me of when my mom would make us those homemade donuts. They were amazing. This is not something you want to eat all the time but for special occasions, it’s the perfect treat for the kids and adults.
Make the glaze by combining milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
Take the biscuits out of the can and lay them on a cutting board. Use a 1 inch round cookie cutter (or even the cap to an olive oil bottle!) to cut circles from each biscuit. You should be able to get 4 circles from each biscuit.
In a shallow bowl, mix together milk, vanilla, and powdered sugar to make a thin glaze.
Step 5 Pour the sweetened coconut in another shallow bowl. Dip each donut into the glaze and then roll around in the coconut. Place on parchment paper to set.
