Sometimes, you might lean towards quick recipes because they seem like they’re going to be the solution on a busy day. Sometimes, you might choose their favorite meals because it’s easy. But if you want to work in more vegetables, you may have to work on a few new ideas to make that happen. When you feel like you’ve tried everything, you may find that these five ideas could help you.
First of all, you might want to try and think about cutting the veggies into different shapes. It could be fun for you to think about the different ways of serving and showing off veggies. Characters and shapes, different presentation styles and even cutting crinkle cut can make them more appealing.

You could even get them to cook with you. Sometimes, when kids are more involved in the cooking process, they are proud and excited. This then makes them more willing to try the things that they’ve made. It can also make it seem less scary for them too!

This may not be something that you’ve tried before and you may also feel like you just don’t know whether it will make a difference, but cooking in different ways can bring about different flavors and textures. Thinking about doing cauliflower in an air fryer or roasting veggies instead of boiling can be fun. You never know if your kids will go for it, so try new things!
Associate Them With Different Foods
Finally, you could also think about pairing the veggies with other foods for them. Sometimes, you can mix them in. With pasta and rice dishes this is very natural – so it’s not like you’re hiding them. And then, as your kids get used to the flavors you may be able to introduce them separately. It can be a quick way for you to make sure that they’re getting the nutrients that they need too!
