Can you use ground turkey in this recipe as well?
Absolutely. You can opt for ground turkey or even ground chicken if you are trying to cut down on some of the fat content of this recipe. Both options are a great choice that will still pack in great taste also.
What other veggies could you add to this recipe?
What I love about this recipe is that you can also add more vegetable options. I’ve made this up using mushrooms, and it was still a huge hit! Your kids won’t mind eating a ton of fresh and delicious veggies because the flavor is just that good.
