Matcha DNA Green Tea Review

Spread the love

I love tea hot or cold. But I have never really bought green tea before. I have tried the Lipton Green Tea in the bottle but that was only one time. My mother buys green tea and she has told me about the benefits of using it.

I received the opportunity to review the Matcha DNA Green Tea so I was excited to try this product. I love organic products and anything that is healthy. I began doing some research online about Matcha Green Tea and learned that it is high in antioxidants and may raise your energy level. The packaging  states that the statements made about Matcha have not been evaluated by the USFDA and the product is not intended to treat, cure, prevent or diagnose any disease.
Matcha DNA  is 100 % organic premium rare Chinese origin  and never radiated. Matcha is hand picked. It can be used  in foods, cooking or to drink. According to the packaging Matcha is never bitter, ultra high in EGCG, antioxidants and has a smooth taste. There are 34 individually packed pouches that are ready to use in the  3 oz bag.

Today I decided to relax and enjoy the day and try out a cup or two of this green tea. The instructions say to pre-warm a cup with water and then discard the water.Place the contents of one
small bag about 25 grams of Matcha DNA in the cup. Gently pour in water and whisk or stir, sweetening to taste.  I used Pure Via sweetener in my tea not sugar.

I loved the taste of the tea. The

only thing  I didn’t like was some of the tea settled at the bottom of the cup but that is probably because I did not whisk the tea. I stirred it with a spoon instead. The tea did not taste bitter at all to me and I will most definitely keep using it in the future. I shop on Amazon quite a bit and you can buy it there for around 19 dollars which is quite expensive. I am glad I tried the Matcha Green Tea. I may even try in the future to make some green tea ice cream using Matcha Tea. I will have to let you know how this turns out. I saw the recipe on You Tube and it sounded interesting. I love ice cream but not sure how ice cream made with green tea would taste. I am very excited about giving it a try
in various recipes and planning on ordering more  Matcha on Amazon.

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Hi I'm glad your here! I love to cook, bake and try new recipes. I enjoy food photography and reviewing products. Hope you enjoy my recipes, thanks for visiting! Sheila
