Have you ever heard of Southern Gold Wildflower Honey? I haven’t until on a trip out of state I purchased the honey at Navarro Pecan Company of Corsicana Tx. The honey came in a beautiful glass tea cup that is a reproduction of a cut glass pattern that was used in the 1900’s.Also interesting to know is the honey is produced in Southeast Tx near the low swamp areas and coastal marshes.Attached to the tea cup was several recipes that can be made with the honey. I decided to make the honey cookies. The honey has a dark color and has a delicious rich flavor. If you are ever in Vidor Tx be sure to visit Southern Gold Honey Co and purchase the Wildflower honey.
