November is finally here. The holidays are just around
the corner. I love to step up my cooking and baking
this time of year. I am going to make gift baskets
this year. Being the first year as a Gourmet Cupboard
distributor, I want everyone to try the mixes.I like
to make different breads during the fall to give as
gifts. Banana bread is one of my favorites. My mom
gave me this recipe. She would bake it all the time
when I was growing up. I saw a recipe over at
Mommy’s Kitchen for Amish Friendship bread. Reminds
me of the bread my mom would make when I was growing up.
The breadwas made with starter and was very good. Stayed
tuned for my sourdough bread recipe made with a starter
later on this month.
