CHUAO CHOCOLATIER~ REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY

June 1, 2011

 THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED

Last year I got to review  Cowgirl Chocolates which I found were very good. I guess you can tell how much I love chocolate. It is so hard to resist.A major weakness of mine. But oh well, some things you just can’t give up  no matter what, and chocolate is just one of those things for me.

I love a good quality chocolate. So when I had the chance to review for Chuao Chocolatier, pronounced (chew Wow). I was very happy. I received the package by UPS. I right away tore open the box. Inside were  three large   2.8 oz chocolate bars wrapped in pretty foil packaging. Spicy Maya, Firecracker and Panko. I also received several chocopods of the three flavors. Watch the video below and find out more about Chuao Chocolatier.
THE REVIEW

The Spicy Maya  is dark chocolate infused with pasilla chile, cayenne pepper and cinnamon. I tasted this bar first because of my curiosity on how chocolate, cayenne pepper and cinnamon would taste. I was a bit skeptical but found this chocolate bar was amazing. The Venezuelan cacao used to make this unique chocolate bar is high quality and I found it to be my second favorite of the Chuao chocolate bars I received.

Next I tried the Firecracker. Made with dark chocolate, chipolte, salt and popping candy. This one was also very good.Loved it mainly because of the popping candy affect.
My very favorite was the Panko chocolate bar made  with dark chocolate toasted panko breadcrumbs and sea salt. This bar is amazing. The breadcrumbs giving it just the right amount of crunch.
