Raspberry Dessert With Crumb Topping

April 23, 2011
A while back I received  some Raspberry and Apple
pie filling from Libby’s to  review. I decided to try the
a quick and easy recipe  using the Raspberry Pie
filling. Perfect for a quick and easy dessert. I like
this dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the
top.  Taking less than 5 minutes to prepare, what
can be better than quick and easy? I also received
some Musselmans Apple Sauce that I will be trying
out on a future post.
I was craving a cobbler like dessert but I decided to try a crumb topping on top of the pie filling to see how it would turn out.
It was so good. This is what you will need
for this recipe:
1 can of Libby’s Premium Raspberry Pie Filling
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp vanilla
Spread pie filling in baking dish or pie pan. In mixing
bowl combine  brown sugar, melted butter, flour and vanilla.
Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over pie filling and bake until
topping is golden brown and pie filling is bubbly.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
So Yummy!
You can also use apple pie filling for this recipe. Add
a little cinnamon to the crumb topping before sprinkling
on the top.

Disclosure: I received 2 Libby’s Pie Fillings and Musselmans
Applesauce to review.
