Wood And Lace Vintage Dishtowel Giveaway

I have always loved old vintage handmade items. I remember my grandmother having  dollies, table cloths and curtains that were handmade. I love decorating with these types of things. Recently while visiting Etsy I found the cutest Vintage Dishtowels. So I decided to contact the shop owner to find out more about her lovely items. I am delighted to announce that Kim at the Wood and Lace Etsy shop has agreed to  sponsor a giveaway for three beautiful Vintage Dishtowels to one of my lucky readers.

Kim's Biography:

"Born and raised in Michigan but living out my golden years here in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina! I grew up in a time when doilies were used on dressers and end tables and such, and table cloths were used instead of place mats. Curtains were sewn from pretty fabrics you got from the 5 &Dime, and those wonderful crisp smooth Percale sheets snapped in the wind on the clothesline. I have been collecting and using Vintage Linens all of my adult life. I love the uniqueness of them, especially the Hand made pieces."

"I have been married to the most wonderful man for 25 years and his passion is Woodworking. So together we make up WoodandLace! In our retirement years we always thought we would open up a little shop and share our passions with others, and Etsy seemed to be the perfect venue. It allows us the freedom to enjoy our other passions which include tending to our vegetable and flower gardens, fruits and berries, canning and making home made jams and jellies, baking and cooking. And of course rocking on the front porch and watching the sun go down over the mountain and giving thanks for another blessed day."

Description:

3 Vintage Dishtowels

3 nice Vintage Dishtowels, coordinating Reds and Greens. A Red and White Striped, A Green Checked with Red Strawberries, and a Green Checked with a design of Dishes, Cups and Glasses woven into a White band on both ends. The Red and White Striped one is Linen and the other two are Cotton. None have tags. All are in Excellent condition with the exception of the green one with the Dishes, Cups and Glasses design, it has a tiny spot that looks like a bleach spot (see last picture). This does not show when folded or hung.

Measurements are:
Red Striped: 28" x 15 1/2"
Green Checked with Strawberries: 25 1/2" x 18"
Green Checked with Dishes: 21 3/4" x 16 1/2"
Washed and Pressed
