I have to have my coffee in the mornings. I am so addicted to it. I really don’t drink it to much at home but mostly when I am working. But I love iced coffee. I like going to Barnes And Noble cafe and enjoying a Frappachino when I can afford it. So today I was having one of my cravings but it is really to hot to be drinking coffee in the afternoon, lol.So I was visiting one of my favorite recipe blogs MommysKitchen when I saw a recipe for iced coffee that looked really good. So with a little experimenting I created a delicious iced coffee recipe perfect for a hot summer day and wanted to share it with you. I have a bottle of Godiva Mocha Liqueur and Kahlua that I had a hard time deciding which one to use for this recipe because I love them both.I decided to try the Godiva Liqueur for this recipe and I have to say it was super yummy! I used Folgers Instant Coffee for this recipe and to my surprise it was as good as fresh brewed. Now on to the recipe:
Boil desired amount of water and add instant coffee. I make my coffee strong so I added about 2 tsps for 2 cups of water.
Chill coffee and add about 4oz to mug.
Add about 1 tbsp per mug of Godiva Liqueur.
Add enough milk to fill the rest of the mug and add desired amount of sugar or splenda. Stir and enjoy on ice.
